Job Title:          Project Manager - New England

Position Type:             Permanent – Full time

Reports to:                  Implementation Manager

Since Carousel was founded in 1992 we’ve grown an average of 30% - 50% per year with estimated 2011 revenues of over $300 million.  Today we have over 5,000 customers, including 35 of the Fortune 100.  We have 1,000 employees that work from 27 offices nationwide.  Our corporate headquarters is located in Exeter, Rhode Island.  This is where our finance and operations departments are located, including our primary NOC, testing lab, customer briefing center, and our warehouse.  Our sales, sales support and marketing departments operate from our Windsor, CT office.

 

Position Overview:
Focus on the delivery of the customer’s solutions by planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and closing out projects within the project constraints of cost, quality, scope and schedule. This position requires a positive, hands-on team-oriented leadership style.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops scopes of work and project plans for all assigned customers;
  • Manages the entire implementation effort;
  • Facilitate and establish regular Project Review Meetings with the customer and internal resources;
  • Serve as customer’s single point of contact for all project related issues and concerns;
  • Successfully lead, develop and communicate a common strategic direction; organize, analyze, and motivate the implementation team to help them meet their objectives and provide high-quality service;
  • Interface with customer service and sales project objects are met;
  • Develop and manage project plans and response strategies;

·         Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of converged technology platforms, virtualization, application and/or infrastructure products and services.
  • Strong supervisory, employee relations and employee development skills.  Demonstrated ability to lead others in the achievement of business goals.
  • Ability to motivate others and inspire high performance, loyalty, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement strategies and manage change. 
  • Strong team work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
