Pilus Energy intends to license an energy generating microbial fuel cell reactor platform known as the Pilus Cell™. We then wholesale the consumables like bacterial powders and accessories like an ultra/super-capacitor and hydrogen fuel cell to the licensees. Our reactor harnesses our genetically engineered bacteria. The reactor harvests the direct current (DC) electricity and hydrogen gas from the bacterial metabolism of organic molecules like sewage, fertilizer run-off, farm animal wastes, and plant pulps.

We have an opening for a highly motivated team player ready to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial technology company. As a project manager reporting directly to the Chief Science Officer, you will help this start-up company develop its reactor and manage its launch into highly visible pilots.

The right candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent field and at least 2 years of experience in alpha/beta pilot management experience. Experience with energy and/or wastewater is helpful, though not required.
