Job Responsibilities:




Project Manager provides direction and leadership for managed projects as assigned. Manages the team's compliance with Customer Projects Process (CPP) to ensure consistent results. Manages several simultaneous projects as well as directs Associate project managers for North America CPP customer projects.



Some of the main responsibilities include:


• Improving effectiveness of critical functions within the direct responsibility of the individual project team through metrics monitoring and tracking.




• Manage Project Team effectively






• Work with Electrical Contractor to ensure all questions are answered and installation is completed successfully (may require resources on-site for construction/progress meetings)




• Ensure resources are available for equipment commissioning and equipment delivery






• Ensure product is manufactured on time per APC standards and shipped on-time for customer schedules. Oversee factory test and make sure factory test reports are completed per APC standards and customer requirements.



Skill set requirements:


• Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience in construction/IT datacenter project management experience




• 3-5 years relevant experience in a construction or IT datacenter environment.




• MS Office, MS Project (or other schedule management software) experience




• Candidates must have excellent communication and decision making skills. They must be a team builder, and have leadership skills, to work collaboratively in a team environment




• The ideal candidates should be PMP certified or be willing to pursue a PMP certification





Candidates must be ready to travel up to 50% with this role
