Program Manager/ Project Manager -
7+ years of brokerage/ Financial Services business product expertise (if possible)
Strong executive presence - to quickly establish credibility with owner group
Ability to translate PMO processes to the business in meaningful way Proven track record to drive and deliver strong project results in a date driven, ambiguous environment Ability to quickly build project structure and team
* Minimum of 7 years related program mgt. experience with Finance previous experience * Minimum of 7 years exposure to formal development methodologies * Financial and/or brokerage Industry experience primarily focusing on brokerage products implementations * Ability to lead a project team and deliver business/project results on projects with a variety of size and complexity * Meeting facilitation skills and leadership experience * Negotiation, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects with proven experience in successfully managing and implementing multiple initiatives on behalf of business partners * Ability to lead, influence, communicate and interact with people at all levels across the company as well as other companies * Focus on achieving results; persists at tasks / project despite difficulties
* Ensuring that the scope is defined and agreed with the sponsor * Provide a plan at the required level of detail which indicates the key dependencies (internal and external), the project resources, the time-frame for completion of the project and the key deliverables within it * Estimate of the total cost of the project/workstream * Ensuring that the project’s critical success factors have been defined and agreed * Ensuring that acceptance criteria have been defined and agreed * Estimate the project’s risk (i.e. its probability of success) and appreciation and agreement as to how these risks can best be mitigated * Providing the required level of status reporting * Managing the process of change (including scope, detailed functionality, staff, project structure) * Ensuring that the implementation policy is in place and adhered to * Ensuring a smooth hand-over to Post-Production Support |
