Position: Project Manager
MOCA
Systems is a nationally recognized program and construction management firm
that greatly improves project performance.
MOCA provides a breakthrough approach to project controls (cost and schedule
management) that helps owners more consistently achieve better within-budget
and on-time project performance. MOCA professionals use existing cost and
scheduling applications such as Primavera(TM) and Timberline Cost Estimating,
augmented with our proprietary MOCABuild(TM) software platform, to meet project
requirements throughout the programming, design and construction phases.
With
MOCA experiencing steady growth, we are actively seeking Project Managers to lead
the Project Teams. Interested candidates should have a thorough understanding
of construction principles, ability to collaborate with a team of Engineers to
develop estimates at concept, schematic, DD and final phases. The successful
candidate(s) will support and augment existing project teams in the development
and execution of plans, schedules, and budgets using standard cost and
scheduling applications augmented by the MOCABuild project controls system.
Qualifications you will have if you are a
great candidate;
Required
· Four-year college
degree (B.S.)
· 7+ years of
experience in the design, construction or consulting industry
· Demonstrated
proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word
· Experience with USACE
Civil Works Programs
· Experience with NAVFAC
construction programs
· Registered
Professional Engineer (PE) in MA
A Plus
· 5 years cost estimating
or Primavera scheduling experience
· Experience with
transportation, highways or MASSDOT
· CCE, CCC, CVS, PMP or
CCM certification

· Oversee the
development of projects from concept through construction with respect to cost
and schedule adherence
· Effectively
communicate with the client and stakeholders to accurately identify and capture
project requirements

Identify
critical path and cost issues.

Work
through identified problems or project deliverables.
· Ensure completion of
the final deliverable on time and within budget
· Manage a team of
engineers providing project controls support
·
Determine
cost and schedule impacts for each change order/modification
·
Perform
detailed site surveys to verify percent complete against contractors' monthly
invoicing.
