The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Position Expectations:

Technical Requirements
Directs and manages project development from beginning to end.
Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Serves as a liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical paths.
Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Conducts project post mortems and creates recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Legal and Regulatory Requirements
Assures compliance with federal and state regulations and laws and corporate policy and procedures.
Stays current with technological trents related to the banking industry.

Miscellaneous
Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate.
Serves on project teams as requested by management.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Services or related field.
A minimum of 3 years work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Prior banking experience and/or project management certifications preferred.
