PROJECT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Boston Pacific seeks to hire Project Managers who can lead high profile projects.  While the duties and responsibilities will vary from project to project, Project Managers can expect to lead projects that are similar to the following examples of recent engagements:

 

-       Performed market and financial evaluation of a power project applying for DOE’s loan guarantee program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)

-       Monitored wholesale energy procurement processes for hundreds of millions of dollars in several States across the country

-       Conducted technical and commercial feasibility studies for geothermal generation projects in Latin America, including the development of detailed financial models

-       Designed and managed a competitive procurement in which we assisted a utility in the evaluation of the technical and commercial aspects of a wide range of renewable energy generating resources

-       Advised State Commission on the largest private equity acquisition in the U.S.

-       Conducted detailed research on specific energy topics and developed reports

-       Assembled and analyzed databases used to calculate energy price benchmarks

PROJECT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

 

-       3-6 years of experience in energy or related field

-       Consulting experience a plus

-       Excellent oral and written communication skills

-       A real interest in making a difference through smart, hard work

-       A focus on providing only the highest quality of service to clients

-       Masters Degree in business, engineering, math, physical sciences or economics a plus

-       Prior experience leading small teams

-       Excellent academic record from a top university

-       Self-starter that is willing to take on and accept significant responsibility

-       Strong analytical skills
