| General management of municipal water facilities as well as Municipal billing and collections issues, Project Management and construction management practices related to planning, design, construction and operations for water resource management facilities, utility economics and contract administration. Working knowledge of regulatory developments, new technology and current trends in water quality, water treatment, water distribution and other related water resource management disciplines. Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations. Knowledge of commercial applications in the water field. Interfacing with Union representatives and City HR on grievances and/or collective bargaining agreement issues. |

| Key Interface: Management, technical services colleagues, operations personnel and supervision, consulting engineers, contractors, equipment vendors, project delivery employees (City union employees), client (various levels), state and local level regulators. · Understanding the complexities associated with a mid-size water utility under management overseeing a unionized City workforce. · Providing leadership and management to management staff as well as City utility employees. · Ensures that policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance and approved objectives are adhered to and/or achieved. |
| · Knowledge of employee relations, applicable safety and environmental regulations, federal and state water quality and technical standards. |
| · Minimum 5 years experience in project delivery of water resources projects in a commercial setting. · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, finance or related field. |
