The Project Manager will provide support to all Operations groups.  This position will also participate as a team member to accomplish various corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution from inception to completion for various projects. 
• Work closely with the Operations End Users to improve efficiency and reduce cost with current processes.
• Participate with various departments to achieve company objectives. 
• Prepare cost/benefit analyses for proposed initiatives. 
• Work with the IT group to develop necessary informational reports/tools to assist in business decisions.
• Liaison between Operations End Users and IT.
• Assist in testing enhancements/modifications with the software system to assure it meets desired End User results.
• Initial primary focus initiatives will include, but not limited to, projects associated with Bar Code Scanning implementation and support, Inventory analysis/reduction, software enhancement requests/reviews, other software implementation as needed.  
• Create and/or participate in the collection and reporting of data, metrics, and key performance indicators.
• Communicates and implements the project goals/strategy with team members. Ensures necessary support is obtained from other functions in order to meet the project objectives and/or milestones.
• Other duties may be assigned by management to meet on-going business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years direct experience in Project Management within a distribution/manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Creative ability to “think-outside-the-box”.
• Solution driven, ability to simplify complex issues in order to expedite completion of tasks.
• Ability to compile/analyze project financial data and make recommendations.
• Strong software application knowledge, familiar with query tools and proficient in MS Excel.
• Detail oriented individual capable of driving follow up on issues to completion.
• Supply Chain Management and/or Financial background helpful.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required
