Position Objective:

To lead and coordinate the company wide safety transformation project in conjunction with the DuPont Safety Management System.

Primary Outcomes:

To execute the operational goals established in the DuPont Safety Management project plan and support the H&M internal transformation through to completion

Position Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager - Safety Transformation (PMST) will coordinate the Corporate -wide Safety Transformation efforts as the Henkels & McCoy lead in conjunction with the DuPont Safety Resources (DSR) team.
• The PMST will assist the Corporate Safety Director and act as the primary point of contact with DSR for all matters of the H&M/DSR safety transformation engagement.
• The PMST will liaison with all Corporate and Regional Management to ensure adequate resource and personnel availability to support a smooth and effective deployment of the Safety Transformation project plan.
• The PMST will also liaison with DSR to ensure full compliance and completion of the terms, conditions and deliverables of the Contract between Henkels & McCoy and DSR.
• The PMST will conduct periodic site visits to monitor and assess the progress of the Safety Transformation process.
• The PMST will act as the lead Change Agent on behalf of Henkels & McCoy and promote organizational compliance with the plan.
• Participate, facilitate and lead discussions with DSR and the finalization of the Safety Transformation plan.
• Ensure all identified activities of the plan are completed.
• Lead in the performance reviews DSR to ensure adherence to the contract scope and terms.
• Lead on defining project metrics.
• Lead coordination of the communicate plan.
• Work with Corporate/Regional Management to ensure plan implementation alignment.
• Attend Corporate/ Regional "kick-off" sessions.

• Knowledge of Federal/State/Industry safety regulations
• Knowledge of Behavior Based Safety Management System

• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean improvement processes
• Knowledge of adult learning processes/techniques

Education:

BS in Safety/Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Sciences (MS strongly preferred)...or a related engineering degree with applicable experience in a safety leadership role.

General Experience:

• 7-10 years Manager/Supervisor experience in a safety related position
• 3-5 years project management or related experience
