Based at our Corporate Headquarters in Lake Forest, IL, you will handle various responsibilities in our expanding commercial management team. This will include the leadership of cross-functional teams responsible for the timely and effective market introduction of products from the pre-launch planning phase of the product life cycle to the post-launch evaluation phase by way of a commercialization process and timeline.
You will apply overall market evaluation analytics, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies to develop pre-launch forecasts and market/product opportunity proposals. Once proposals are approved, you will monitor development progress towards established launch timelines with other functional area program managers until product is ready for market launch.
You will coordinate activities of product’s market launch including launch timing, pricing, marketing collateral, contracting, and customer segmentation. Additionally, an evaluation of launch activities and post launch sales/market goal achievement will be completed.
The candidate must display leadership qualities in facilitating problem solving and decision making by team consensus, and assure the decisions are consistent with the overall company business objectives. Successful communication at all levels of the organization; with regard to project status and related activities is a critical competency.

Preferred Candidate Background and Expertise
· Requires BS/BA degree in business administration or related field and have a demonstrated track record of success for a minimum of 5 years within the pharmaceutical industry.

· Candidate should have strong analytical/financial background, communication skills, decision-making, and program management experience. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical management experience with strong analytical responsibilities, with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience. Strong leadership experience, business acumen, organizational and analytical skills are required. Must be willing to travel a minimum of 30%.
