Current Opportunity:
We currently have an opening for a Project Manager within Vi-Jon’s Sales Operations Department at our St. Louis, Missouri location. We offer an exciting and challenging work environment, a competitive salary and benefits package, and a business culture that rewards performance.
The Project Manager, Sales Operations position:
· Provides project management leadership and guidance to sales projects
· Provides input to project management training
· Actively engages to ensure that all project management systems and business processes are continuously improved to best serve our customers and the sales team
· Provides strategic input and partners with National Account Management staff to best support and exceed all customer expectations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides customer specific account support and project management
· Provide project management of NBA process, artwork approval process, conversion process, and new-existing item launches for all areas of account responsibility
· Ability to create analytical work plans to diagnose issues
· Develop recommendations and action plans to deploy process improvement opportunities
· Lead sub-projects and analysis as defined by the Director, Sales Operations and Supervisor, Sales Operations
· Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with key stakeholders
· Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
· Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
· Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
· Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
· Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
· Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
· Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools (ex: Microsoft Project)
· Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
· Work with Director, Sales Operations and Supervisor Sales Operations define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties
· Provide input to project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
· Provides preparation of visual aids, sample comparisons, and data collection for the Sales team. Coordinates with NAM to exceed the Customer expectations.
