Project Manager – Software Development – GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!!!!
My client is looking for an individual that is PMP certified and has a minimum of 8 years in software development and 4 years in Project Management or Program Management.
Background Requirements:
· BS in Computer Science or related field
· PMP Certification Required
· 4+ years of Project Management and / or Program Management in software development required
· Experience with Product Development Lifecycles – software development projects
· Experience with administrative, contractual, technical and financial control of the project
· Organizes the Project Team and develops effective relationships
· Management of the project master schedule to achieve timely completion of the contract
· Management of the project cash flow and schedule of deliverables against price/time curves; Exercises overall profit responsibility for the total project
· Monthly project status reporting
· Primary interface with customer
· Experience with various development methodologies (such as RUP, Scrum, Agile, etc.) a plus
· Experience with processes relating to CMM and/or CMMi
· Experience with MS Project, Project Web Access is a plus
Offering:
· Base Salary of $65,000 - $85,000
