This position is responsible for the project fulfillment process, including survey design and fielding, data collection and review, report preparation and client communications. In addition, this position tracks of job quality and scope changes, as well as oversees the execution of the research process across Ops and Research.
Employee may be responsible for one or more of the following on any given project:
Client Development (pre-win)
- Consult with internal team on the feasibility of operational design and timeline for moderate to complex projects
- Work with existing clients with substantial oversight
- Contribute ideas for research solutions to business problem
- Write first draft sections of basic proposals with guidance
- Assist with proposal preparation: research subject matter, background info, etc
- Develop final draft of costing summary for basic proposals
Project Implementation
Design
- Act as operational resource regarding design and execution through duration of moderate to complex projects
- Manage end-to-end project schedule
- Outline implementation of project plan for basic study with minimal oversight
- Manage the project and project quality through fielding, including leading operational meetings (start-up, PIM, JEM, etc), maintenance of project files, etc.
- Write basic survey from outline with moderate oversight
- Review survey instrument – grammar, format, etc
Sample/ Survey Programming
- Prepare survey for programming
- Test survey for field readiness
- Review & prepare client sample for sampling
- Contribute to sample design discussions with both research & operations
Field/ Data Processing
- Actively troubleshoot project fielding issues, identify and implement solutions with oversight
- Act as a client contact through project fielding, responding to simple requests and actions
- Prepare field progress reports, deliver to client as appropriate
- Manage client expectations related to schedule/timeline with moderate oversight on complex studies; minimal oversight on basic studies
- Develop banner tabs
- Review deliverable specifications and verify quality of deliverables, including tab reports
- Review weighting targets
Analysis/Reporting
- Develop analytic plan for basic studies with substantial oversight
- Perform basic analysis
- Prepare & populate report template
- Develop report outline with moderate oversight
- Write detailed findings, begin to formulate conclusions and implications
- Participate in client presentations
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 2+ years of research/project management experience
- Familiar with multivariate analysis
- Detail orientated and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, self-directed, strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated effective client management (internal or external) skills
