Henkels & McCoy Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler. The Project Scheduler is a key member of the Project Team and reports to the Director of PMO. This position develops project schedules and requires the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the project team, customer, and other internal and external stakeholders. Successful applicant must be willing to travel extensively.   This position is based out of our Regional Headquarters in Batavia, IL.

• Develop, optimize and update project schedules for multiple, simultaneous large projects using Primavera, P6.
• Negotiate with Project Managers, Project Stakeholders, customers, etc to ensure timely completion of schedules
• Sound communication and training skills are necessary to demonstrate to project teams the value of scheduling projects for success
• Understand utility construction work practices, processes and sequencing and their impact on project scheduling activities
• Understand industry practices, processes and standards and their impact on project activities
• Knowledge of project controls and multiple project management methodologies and their associated standards and activities enhancing the PMO project support capabilities
• Travel will be required to work with project teams throughout the Central Region.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Primavera Scheduling Software and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to travel throughout Central Region (up to 50% of the time)
• Graduate of or current enrollment in formal Project Management course work preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience is desired required.
