As a Zywave P&C Legal Content Analyst, you will support the Broker Briefcase P&C and Personal Lines products by working with supervising attorneys to research and write insurance coverage and risk related compliance articles. Zywave partners will use these articles to educate themselves relative to their own business risks and to enrich their existing client relationships and win new business. This support will help Zywave continue to be the market leader in this product space.

As a Zywave EB Legal Content Analyst, you will support the Broker Briefcase Benefits product by working with supervising attorneys to research and write employee benefit related compliance type articles. Zywave’s partners will use these articles to educate themselves and to enrich their existing client relationships and win new business. This support will help Zywave continue to be the market leader in this product space.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  Writing original content, feature articles, and newsletters for ultimate inclusion into one or more of Zywave’s saleable web products.
  
  
• 
  
  Assisting supervising attorneys in preparing webinars for Zywave partners.
  
  
• 
  
  Monitoring related legislative activity at both the federal and state levels to ensure that our products have timely, relevant and accurate compliance related content. Proactively suggest new content based on legislative developments.
  
  
• 
  
  Supporting Zywave’s client portal products as necessary.
  
  
• 
  
  Monitoring partner inquiries related to product content and compliance as necessary.
  
  
• 
  
  Supporting other internal initiatives.

Qualifications include:

• 
  
  EB Legal Content Analyst - Degree or certificate in paralegal studies and at least three years experience in employee benefits or related law. [Candidates without a degree or certificate, who have equivalent work experience, may be considered.]  Knowledge of federal insurance laws including HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, HSAs, HRAs, and Medicare.

  P&C Legal Content Analyst - Degree or certificate in paralegal studies and at least three years experience in workers’ compensation, OSHA, risk management or employee safety programs.  [Candidates without a degree or certificate, who have equivalent work experience, may be considered.] Experience servicing P&C insurance brokers a plus.

  Solid, demonstrated written and oral communication skills required, with an ability to create reader-friendly documents.

  Strong general computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office business software (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Internet usage. Ability to research as necessary using WESTLAW.
