Winn Residential is seeking an experienced Property Manager for an immediate opening at one of their Cambridge, MA sites.  Candidate must have knowledge of affordable housing regulations (LIHTC, Section 8, Section 236) and 2 or more years experience in the property management field.

Position Overview:

Property Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the property’s day-to-day operations, to effectively manage a 240-unit affordable apartment complex located outside of Porter Square. The successful candidate must be a team player, have at least 2+ years experience managing affordable housing communities, and be highly organized. Must demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Specific job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Personnel management of staff of five
Leasing & maintenance oversight
Budgeting
Implementing & overseeing Capital Improvement projects
Resident services
Information reporting and compliance with all applicable affordable housing laws and company policies.

Qualifications and/or Experience:
The successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of affordable housing: Section 8, Section 236, and LIHTC programs is a requirement. COS, CPO, ARM, AHM and/or NAHP designations a plus. Associate’s degree or comparable work experience preferred. Knowledge of Yardi software a plus.
