The Proposal Development Associate is responsible for the development of proposals as it relates to Request for Proposals (RFPs), assist with the development and maintenance of procedures, tools, and tracking systems, and the development of concept papers and other written materials for Business Development Administration.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write proposals

  • Assist the Senior Manager(s), Proposal Development with the development and maintenance of procedures and tools used in the Business Development Administration department

  • Develop concept papers and other significant written client communication

  • Assist Senior Manager(s), Proposal Development with training of new Proposal Development Managers

  • Develop and write proposals following document deliverable guidelines, pricing guidelines, operational recommendations and assessments, RFP materials, and general business development guidelines

  • Be consistent in proposal development for style presentation, consistency with algorithms, and RFP materials.

  • Develop concept papers and other written client communication

  • Assist in developing and maintaining new and historical operational benchmarks

  • Assist in maintaining and updating proposal templates and formats

  • Assist in developing and maintaining systems, tools, and resources for proposal creation

  • Assist in maintaining departmental electronic/paper files, and informational databases

  • Assist as needed in the development of other written materials in all areas of Business Development Administration

  • Assist as needed in all areas of Business Development and Business Development Administration

Qualifications: 
  • 2 years of experience working with RFPs in a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environment is essential for this position

  • 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry experience

  • We also value candidates with direct experience with proposals

  • MS Office experience is necessary, and PMAPS experience is preferred

  • Project management experience is a plus, as is exposure to clinical programs within an RFP environment
