AHCC is currently seeking a Mid-Level to a SENIOR Proposal Writer to lead efforts in developing, writing and managing the proposal process. Essential responsibilities include analyzing Request for Proposals (RFPs); compiling proposal outlines, compliance matrices and schedules; researching and gathering information from a variety of data sources; clarifying text for continuity, applicability and readability; participate and/or directing proposal reviews; ensuring timely submission of proposal to prospective clients; managing follow-up questions and requests. The candidate will be skilled in all aspects of writing and editing technical documentation, from research to production. Knowing the information technology industry is helpful but not required.
Must have thorough understanding and expertise in writing proposal, user manual, user guide, training documentation, and business requirements. Operating. Analytical and resolutions skills are needed with strong ability to work with the development team to develop necessary documentation. Must be extremely organized and have the ability to multitask producing excellent quality.

Following tasks
· Interact with subject matter experts to gather data.
· Research and identify relevant company material, boiler plate, and intelligence relevant to the document.
· Provide initial review and copy/substantive edit of all graphics and text.
· Perform final electronic and hard copy edit of all drafts and final versions.
· Maintain version control at the review and edit stage of each draft.
Lead the following activities
· Producing, reproducing, binding, and packaging of all hard and soft copies.
· Coordinating review teams and reviews.
· Producing draft and final text and graphics.
· Performing writing and rewriting efforts as needed.
· Perform duties as assigned to assist the Proposal Manager.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver proposals that covers all requirements and with excellent content addressing all customer needs.
• Excellent quality of proposals and documents
• Develop full scale and manage business requirements, system design, quality assurance, training, user manual, user guide and proposals.
• Customer Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Excellent skills with developing presentations and taking meeting minutes
• Identify and manage dependencies and critical path.
• Experience with version control.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, meeting minutes, action items, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in business requirements, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Conduct testing for the final product and ensure product quality.
• Conduct customer meeting if required.
• Conduct training and develop user manuals.
• Ability to be able to develop proposals with requirement traceability matrix and excellent skill set in addressing all RFP requirements.

• Experience with configuration management, SDLC and CMMI
• Experience with trade shows is a plus
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree English or relevant; a minimum of 5 years experience in proposal writing, development and management; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization; proven success working in a deadline-driven environment.
Travel
• Travel may be required for the following: meeting with clients, marketing events, tradeshows, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management, and most importantly training courses in the headquarter office in Maryland, USA.
