Our client is a well-established government services firm that delivers construction services, facilities management and infrastructure services to government clients including the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense.Due to continued growth and success, they are seeking a Proposal Writer with government contracts experience to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Interface with Proposal Managers, Technical Writers, and Production Teams to respond to Federal, State and Local government requests for proposals
·Serve as the point of contact for compiling and formatting proposal documents and receiving and sending materials and coordinating deadlines for materials needed for completing proposals
·Develop and maintain proposal templates and databases
·Answer ad hoc requests
Background Requirements:
·3 – 5 years of experience within government contracts and proposals
·Experience answering proposals for the DOD or DOE and other government agencies strongly preferred
·Prior experience or training within the Shipley Method
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·BA/BS required
