Proposal Writers & Managers
We are seeking to expand our Proposal Team and so have several positions open for Proposal Writers, Coordinators and Managers. In coordination with the Sales Team, the Proposal Team provides expert MS Office and writing skills, and assistsin managing proposal development processes, including: planning, organizing, strategy development, scheduling, ensuring compliance, writing, coordinating overall activities, preparing and communicating status reports, critiquing and making improvement recommendations, coordinating and managing reviews, assisting in proposal production, and related tasks necessary to compete for and win contract awards from government agencies and other assignments.
The Proposal Team assists in interpreting technical and management requirements, solicits expert information, proofs and edits proposal content ensuring use of proper grammar and effective document construction, and works effectively, both independently and as part of a small team,to manage multiple proposal tasks requiring strict, rapid turnaround deadlines.
Requirements:
§ Five or more years experience writing winning proposals;
§ Highly proficient in writing proposals and responses to Federal Task Orders, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and Sources Sought;
§ Experience writing to address needs of Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, IRS, and/or Department of Defense;
§ Knowledgeable of information technology trends, support, services and certifications;
§ Able to integrate knowledge from internet research, SMEs and relevant company past performance;
§ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments;
§ Strong ability to use MS Office suite of software applications;
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired:
§ Trained in Shipley Proposal Process;
§ APMP Certified;
§ Knowledgeable of IT trends and their applications (e.g., cloud, mobility, cyber security).
