Job Summary: Under general supervision, assists R & D and the Engineering Department in prototype and tooling fabrication. Successful candidate must be fluent in general machining, including milling, drilling, turning, grinding and other aspects of prototype manufacture process. This position also requires full knowledge of blueprint reading, including various mil specifications and GD & T. Must provide machining process to the Design Engineer to reduce cost in prototyping. Must have CNC experience (Chevalier/Anilam is a plus.) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: AA Degree in Industrial Technology (Machining). Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a Prototype Shop manufacturing environment. General machining, both conventional and CNC.
