POSITION SUMMARY:
The Provider Account Manager (PAM) is a field-based position requiring a majority of the time to be spent out of the office. The PAM is responsible for influencing PCP behavior to the benefit of the provider, member, and our enterprise, as well as fostering successful relationships with Bravo Health’s provider community. On a monthly basis the PAM will meet with and train key PCP physician groups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Manage relationships with key PCPs in the markets to enable successful performance in Bravo Health’s gain-share programs.
Develop customized action plans to ensure PCP success with Bravo Health’s gain-share programs. Conduct regular meetings with key PCPs to review their action plan and engage PCPs and their office staff in targeted conversations around office practices and operations.
Deliver PCP training and office education to new providers & supplemental education to providers struggling with particular topics (e.g. referral process).
Proactively identify providers whose success in gain-share programs is challenged and develop a targeted remediation plan
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with providers
· Ability to analyze large amounts of data in order to perform root cause analysis and develop and implement remediation plans
· Ability to analyze and solve complex problems created and presented by the business environment.
· Ability to work independently, under pressure, balance multiple and changing priorities and consistently meet deadlines
· Thorough knowledge of the Managed Care industry and clinical terminology
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Business or Science related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
· At least 5 years of Healthcare experience with at least 3 years specifically in Provider Relations, Account Management, or managed healthcare. Some Sales experience preferred.
· Strong knowledge of the Managed Care Industry and clinical terminology
· Ability to travel within the designated area

Current Driver’s License and Automobile required
Ability to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor
May work non-standard schedule in order to attend breakfast and/or dinner meetings
