Provider Enrollment Representative I
Work Location - Denison, TX
Rate of Pay - $12.62 per hour

SCA Provider Enrollment Representative I - Multi will be cross-trained to provide support to operational units which may include Claims and Provider Enrollment, and other units as determined. Cross-support to other units will be approximately 20% of scheduled hours, depending on need and subject to change. Responsible for processing applications submitted by providers seeking to enroll in the Medicare Part A & B program. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Validates the accuracy of data submitted.
  • Ensures accurate entry of data into Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) national database.
  • Processes initial applications, information updates for existing providers, and electronic funds transfers.
  • Reviews sales agreements and bill of sale for change of ownership agreements.
  • Reviews agreement between CMS and the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).
  • Determines or forwards recommendations for the outcome of the enrollment applications to CMS and state agencies.
  • Maintains an understanding of the CMS directives and follows all processes and procedures in order to maintain the integrity of the program.
Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in claims, customer service or credentialing preferred.
  • Medicare experience preferred.
