Our Berryville Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) is a CARF accredited program that supports clients aged 6-21 with an accute psychiatric diagnosis in addition to an existing intellectual disability.


 


Description:
Job Purpose:
Provides supervision to direct care professionals in the areas or program implementation, documentation, crisis intervention, and activity planning. Works with multidisciplinary teams; conducts documentation reviews; provides input in developing new programs; manages staff.

Duties:
* Accomplishes adolescent  programs objectives by  selecting, orienting, training, assigning cases, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining direct care professionals; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

* Achieves adolescent programs operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; organizing and conducting case reviews. completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

* Improves adolescent program quality results by analyzing alternative approaches to outpatient treatment services; studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.

* Promotes the adolescent programs by presenting information to community service agencies.



* Protects psychiatric hospital's value by guarding patient confidentiality.

* Enhances adolescant  program and psychiatric hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
