Education Segment Sales Lead – Retail Energy Texas
The Business Development Executive will be selling energy as a commodity into the Education segment. Incumbent will work closely with the risk management and pricing teams in order to secure long term power contracts.
Candidate will have proven and consistent sales experience in the Texas public sector or government accounts including education or cities/counties/state & local government. Must have the ability to sell to all levels of management; strong communication, interpersonal, negotiating, follow up, presentation, and account management skills. No prior energy-related experience required.
Responsibilities include:
· Sell energy contracts into state and local government accounts.
· Develop marketing plans, contracts/bids/proposals, close new business.
· Key liaison between dealers, customers, administration and contracting.
