The Health & Public Service operating group serves health organizations, government agencies, institutions and nonprofit organizations worldwide providing a broad range of consulting, technology, system integration and business processing services.

 

Service Delivery professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training, and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network.

 

Job Description

 

The Datacenter Infrastructure Specialist assists the engineering and infrastructure lead in infrastructure design, deployment, and configuration to support 10-Print deployment.  Provides infrastructure expertise to team.   Coordinates with the Managed Service Providers to ensure designs met the technical requirements provided by the architecture and engineering teams.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop system design documents per unit delivery methods to support project
  • Provide technical expertise in infrastructure design
  • Prepare team status reports for leadership team
  • Lead Infrastructure documentation peer reviews, and address any task related concerns
  • Plan, build, test and deploy appropriate infrastructure solutions and configurations to implement and support unit applications using, servers, storage devices, networking devices, media devices and other equipment
  • Support the ongoing shaping of overall technical architecture, infrastructure, and implementation of tools and products to support the Production and Development environments
  • Assist in configuration management, inventory and asset control, procurement/acquisition, and setup/installation of infrastructure in several environments

 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 3 years of work experience in datacenter or network operations
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of IT experience with vendor training/certifications in lieu of a degree
  • 2 years experience with MS Project
  • 2 years experience with Oracle

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Understanding of backup methodologies and architecture
  • Rack design and leading practices
  • Site assessment and documentation of system requirements and configuration
  • Strategic architecture and planning
  • Security practices and design
  • LAN (Switch) design and planning
  • WAN  (Router) design and planning
  • Working experience with Server design, planning and implementation
