Job Description

 

Service Delivery professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training, and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network.

 

Primary responsibilities of the Functional Reporting Specialist include:

 

  • Create Ad-Hoc reports using client's Integrated Enterprise Web Reporting (US-VIEWR) solution and direct Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.
  • Specifically, the Functional Reporting Specialist will perform the following tasks
  • Receive Data and Ad-Hoc report requests
  • Determine location of data required to fulfill requests
  • Develop reports with US-VIEWR or run SQL queries
  • Validate Report Results
  • Deliver reports or data to requestor
  • Follow up with requestor
  • Create supporting documentation for the requested reports
  •  Participate in working sessions to obtain input from stakeholders, technical specialists, customers, end users, technical architect, and application designers to define the Ad-Hoc Reporting capability requirements and application
  • Work with other Technical Architect, Functional Lead and Design Lead to ensure that all components work together to meet the functional objectives and performance goals as defined in the Ad-Hoc Reporting capability requirements

 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Reporting work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Experience with the following:

 

J2EE, User Interface Design, Informatica, ETL, User Experience, Dimensional Data Modeling and/or Data Warehousing
