Multi Location Regional Chemical Distributor is looking to hire a Purchasing Assistant. The optimal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills.
- BS Degree preferred and 3 to 5 years of buying experience
- Maintain inventory levels
- Schedule inbound logistic and evaluate carrier performance
- Develop relationship with suppliers
- Maintain communications with other internal departments
- Maintain communications with external business units
- Strong attention to detail and be highly organized
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Open minded, independent self starter type work ethics
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (word, excel and outlook)
