Requires 10-12 years of procurement experience, at least 6 years of experience working with FAR/DFAR requirements. Experienced Purchasing Professional to handle complex procurements with experience in Space parts and TOR requirements a plus.   Candidate must have strong negotiation, price analysis and supplier management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Candidate is expected to have a sound working knoweldge of procurement practices under the FAR regulations. Duties include developing sourcing strategy and identifying competitive supply sources; preparing RFQ; evaluating responses; documenting rationale for the issuance of orders; taking responsibility to manage orders until completion of receipt and payment. Candidate is expected to interface with their suppliers to maintain a high level of on time delivery performance with a high level of quality acceptance. Proficiency in the MS Office suite of software applications. - In addition the candidate must be an efficient, task oriented individual with excellent organizational skills. C.P.M./CPSM certification desirable but not required.
