Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements and design specification reviews
• Develop and Execute test plans.
• Write Test Suites for manual execution.
• Write Test Suites for automated execution.
• Run manual tests of the products.
• Run automated tests of the products using HP’s Quick Test Pro.
• Report product defects in the defect tracking system.
• Report automation framework defects in the defect tracking system.
• Provide Daily Status Reports and test results. 

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience developing Test plans, Test cases and Status reports.
• 5 years of professional experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• 5 years of professional experience working with bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla and JIRA.
• 3 years of professional experience working with T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• 3 years of professional experience working with TOAD or Query Analyzer.
• 5 years of professional experience with quality assurance of multi-tiered web engineering products.
• 3 years of professional experience with HP’s Quick Test Pro.
• 2-3 years developing automation scripts with a scripting language such as VBScript or JavaScript is a big plus.
• Solid understanding of the software development and software quality lifecycles.
• Ability to take on the quality assurance leadership of multiple simultaneous ongoing projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent judgment skills to assess the high risk areas.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to demonstrate competence and self-motivation in analyzing problems and performing root cause analysis
• Positive personal experience working closely and amicably with the product team and the application development team to achieve the mutual goal of high-quality products and services.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be an outstanding team player
• Ability to be creative, efficient and productive with minimal supervision or guidance
• Experience working in a high traffic, high performance web environment.
