What you need:

- 5+ years testing complex network / telecommunications protocols / wireless topologies
- Experience testing the OSPF protocol; troubleshooting experience of OSPF protocol
- Hands-on IPSEC protocol testing experience
- Hands-on experience testing the performance of products involving call setup rate, throughput, latency, jitter, etc. (RFC 2544)
- Experience with TCP/IP protocols including IP, UDP, TCP
- CCIE / CCNP / CCNA a huge plus!
- Proficient with Perl, Shell, and Python scripting
- Strong UNIX/Linux skills
- Experience with Ixia / Spirent / Tektronics test tools
- Experience in test automation
- Working knowledge source control systems (Perforce, RCS, CVS)
- Experience with telecommunications test equipment highly desirable

What you'll be doing - You will:

- Execute test cases covering system and feature functionality on hardware platform including physical and logical test topology development
- Test areas include functional tests of basic system functionality; feature set functionality including signaling protocols, and control/data paths
- Validate performance of various system components and the entire control and data path
- Provide troubleshooting support and feedback to development engineers on software functionality
