Description:
The Quality and Mission Success (QMS) Quality Manager - Market Segment Lead for the Defense Systems Market Segments of the Integrated Defense Technologies (IDT) Line of Business will lead the Quality Program Teams supporting the Market Segment programs. The QMS Manager will be the focal point for all aspects of Quality and Mission Success and the primary contact for Program Management V.P. They will be responsible for ensuring appropriate Quality personnel are in place, that all programs are operating compliantly and providing quality products per the MS2 common processes and customer requirements. The QMS manager will also champion the Operating Excellance program for the Market Segment and the Akron facility. This position will serve as the Akron site lead for Quality and Mission Success.
Qualifications:
The position requires interfacing with government, international and domestic customers. Candidate must have experience with maintaining and auditing to AS9100 and Mil-Spec requirements, Lean/Six Sigma principles, Black Belt preferred, Root Cause analysis and EVMS.
Candidate must possess understanding of program lifecycle and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including customers and prime and/or subcontractors.
