We are seeking a QA Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our Minnetonka-based client.  At this time we are seeking only candidates already living in the Twin Cities and those candidates who can start a new position immediately.  Compensation is commensurate with experience, and all candidates must be amenable to contract-to-hire.

The QA Lead is responsible for:

·         Addressing complex quality assurance and test environment issues and will act as the lead in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts

·         Working with the other project stakeholders to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process

·         Planning and directing quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitors project status in comparison to cost/time projections

·         Creating test scripts, plans and processes and assisting testing teams with scripts, defects and test execution

·         Working with technology and end user teams to resolve testing defects

·         Documenting all phases of QA process

·         Leading and managing a team of 2 staff

Requirements:

·         Must have experience as a Team Lead

·         Must have experience with automated testing tools, such as QTP.

·         Must know how to read XML and write SQL statements.

·         Extensive experience with Regression and Integration testing.

·         Must have worked in an Agile environment.

·         Must have executed and designed testing process and plans.

·         Must have exposure to use cases and test driven requirements

·         Must have strong written and oral communication skills

·         Must have strong technical writing skills.
