CNC Operator and Programmer / Set-Up for both lathes and Horizontal mills:


 


Operator Position Requirements: Ability to read prints and verify dimensional and other print requirements in parts being manufactured. Ability to set and use gages and measuring tools to verify same, . Also good hand skills.


 


Programmer Position Requirements:  In addition to above, will require understanding of materials used and cutter applications that apply - horsepower, depth of cut and surface feet per minute.  Requires a full understanding of the chip generation - able to calculate run rates based on chip loads (feed and depth of cut). Ability to send and receive programs to and from a variety of  machines / controllers.  Must be capable of reading & writing "G" & "M" code for various machine controls. Capable of manual data input at the controller.  Can edit programs at the machine.  Capable of re-sending edited program back to CAM software, for updating. Also includes set-up responsibilities. Gibbs Cam experience desired.


 


 


Quality Control Lead/Manager:


 


Position requirements: Has a broad knowledge base that includes the measurement process, the language of measurement, devices, standards, traceability, and statistics. Metrology Background..  Capable of calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining all gages - both in our gage calibration system and non-calibrated equipment.  Capable of prioritizing daily tasks including 1st article, final, in-process inspections, gage calibrations, corrective action documentation, etc.. Can keep accurate files and records, inspection documentation, gage calibrations, etc.) Strong G.D.& T required. Must possess leadership quality. Able to organize & manage Q.A. dept as well as develop & incorporate new systems to  expedite work flow.


 


 


Scheduler:


 


Position requirements:  Ability to plan, issue and control production schedules and coordinate with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow to meet production requirements and due dates. Advise project coordinators of the status of work in progress and forecast and trouble shoot potential problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.  Individual must possess ability to maintain and develop scheduling areas to streamline for optimum efficiency and accuracy. A manufacturing background as well as full knowledge of CNC Mill and Lathe machining centers a plus !


 


 


Shipping and Receiving Lead:


 


Position requirements:  Responsible for organizing and managing a team in a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of product to customers.  Must possess ability to develop & incorporate new systems to expedite this work flow .and meet customer due dates. Lead team to verify and keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and be sure that individuals properly prepare items for shipment   Compare information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.  


 


Human Resource Administrator 


Position requirementsResponsibilities include managing and performing all of the various human resource functions which collectively operate to recruit, retain, and develop human capital, including benefits and compensation,  employee relations, hiring, performance planning, and training. Possess ability to provide assistance to employees and managers on conflict resolution, performance plans/evaluations, and other employee relations matters;. Responsibilities include accounting with a thorough knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or other).  HR experience (ADP Payroll), and tax filing, Purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting considered a plus.  Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information.


 


Clerical


Position Requirements:  Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  Requires customer relations skills, including professional interaction with vendors and customers via phone, e-mail, and fax.  Must have accurate numeric and alphabetic filing skills as well as a professional and pleasant telephone manner.


 


Quoter


Position Requirements:  Must have the ability to review all aspects of production to determine proper costs from raw materials to labor rates and productivity.  Perform estimating functions (quoting of new jobs) to establish price and profitability. Must have manufacturing background. Ability to read prints, dimensions and other requirements to manufacture precision parts. CNC Manufacturing in a job shop environment.


 


Purchasing


Position Requirements:  Place and process orders for materials and supplies to support manufacturing process, Perform ordering and expediting duties.  Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and clients.  MUST be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.  Excellent Ability to multi-task. Experience with clerical duties such as filing, copying, and order tracking.  Willingness to learn and offer suggestions for continuous improvement within the dept. Extremely strong organizational skills  - Self-directed work ethic.  Maintain a steady work pace  - Clear and accurate interdepartmental communication - Accurately track receipts. 


 


Sheet Metal Operator


Position Requirements:  Able to read complex prints & verify dimensions and to use gage and measuring tools to verify same. Able to setup and use hydraulic CNC & manual pressbrake.  We are looking for someone with strong bend calculation ability with excellent fabricating skills.
