QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
NATURE AND SCOPE
:Is responsible for the propositions of new quality and security strategies and the definition of the quality and security policies and of the application. This includes the definition of the quality and security policy, process, control tools and internal / external audits.
Contributes to compliance with corporate policies and business objectives.
The scope concerns all activities and departments of the company.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Quality Assurance
Definition of the policy
1. With each department manager, defines quality principles, rules and priorities for all activities of the company: Production, Maintenance, Marketing and Sales, Accounting, HR ….
2. Familiar with standard concepts, defines the quality standards
Application and Quality Management
1. Writes the processes and the different quality tools including the control tests
2. Creates and updates qualities processes, procedures and tools
3. Communicates and trains the employees to use these quality methodology and tools
4. Assesses and solves quality issues across all departments
5. Defines the measurable tools to follow the quality level during all our collaboration with the supplier.
6. In case of quality problems with suppliers, manages the problem with the department managers and find solutions reliable for the future.
Process improvement
1. Generates, collects, and analyzes data using statistical process control at the end of the project to show benefit to company in terms of quality/profitability.
2. Uses statistical tools to pinpoint area of the manufacturing process for improvement
3. Performing root cause analysis on identified issues using an analysis approach.
4. Maintaining databases to capture data important to analysis of product and service quality.
Project Management
1. Manages multiple strategic transversal projects
2. Is able to analyze (critical thinking), proposes and selects solutions adapted at the needs.
3. Defines the schedule, costs analysis, evaluation and realization.
5. Is able to coordinate a project team.
6. Optimizes the results of his/her projects in short, middle and long terms.
The candidate have to be able to manage multiple projects with a strategic vision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Engineer or Master Degree - Specialty: Quality Assurance preferred
