“GREEN” CONSUMER PRODUCTS COMPANY IS SEEKING A HANDS-ON QUALITY MANAGER
Niagara Conservation Corporation is a global manufacturing and distribution company based in Fort Worth, TX, with business interests in the USA, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Niagara’s mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality of water and energy conservation products and solutions. Having achieved double-digit growth for most of the past decade and being positioned for continued growth, our products include high-efficiency toilets, showerheads, faucets and aerators, CFL light bulbs, weather-stripping, programmable thermostats and other conservation-related products.
The ideal candidate for the Quality Supervisor position will have a Bachelor’s Degree (or at least some college) and 5+ years’ experience supervising and administering quality systems in a plumbing, lighting, hardware or other consumer products related manufacturing or distribution company. This person should be very hands-on; have experience in a small to medium-sized company with document control, vendor audits, and non-destructive inspections; be process-oriented; and be able to wear many hats in a fast-paced, constantly evolving international distribution environment. This is not a desk job. It is a working supervisor position which will require being physically involved in the quality process.
This position will lead and administer quality for domestic operations and be responsible for all aspects of quality including conducting and coordinating product tests and analysis; assisting with new product development (from a quality perspective); leading quality related projects; developing, administering and enforcing quality systems; and fostering a culture of quality. This position requires excellent technical and written/verbal communication skills as well as the ability to represent Niagara professionally both domestically and abroad. This position will work in a normal industrial/lab environment with frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Periodic travel will be required. Bi-lingual language skills are preferred (English/Spanish or English/Chinese).
