Quality Assurance / WebAnalyst. Successful individual will participate in Agile software development testing in .NET and SQL environments. This position will work with the software engineers and QA engineers in creating automated and performance test scripts including wireframes for our web-based applications. Primary duties include assisting with creation of complex automated tests and Load Runner performance test tools. Build wireframes for system prototypes to be used to enhance requirements, write and execute test cases; document system defects; conduct iteration regression tests; and perform other software quality control functions. Develop and execute test cases and plans for Functional, Performance, Stress, Regression and Acceptance testing needs. Develop and maintain Automated Test Scripts. Communicate effectively to ensure that all testing needs are being assessed and addressed to ensure our products meet or exceed performance targets. Effectively and accurately document all QA results. Participate in planning all testing activities accordingly to ensure on time deliverables are met. Work closely with the customer or business unit at the design stage and finding the answers to questions about why the site is needed, who the target audience will be, and how it will be used. Produce wire frame prototype based on user/customer business requirement. Testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 1 year related hands on experience
- Experience with test case management tools, such as Mercury Test Director/HP Quality Center
- The ability to develop, perform, and document software test cases
- Must have a general understanding of software configuration management
- Self-starter with good communication skills
- Experience with automated test tools and familiarity with the Agile Development Methodology is preferred.
