About the position

Reporting to the Corporate R&D Manager, as the Quality Assurance Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring ISO compliance for a medical device department in our Contract Packaging division. You will also manage current and future quality assurance systems and will have direct and indirect contact with our customers ensuring that their quality control specifications are met.

What you will do

• Manage our quality systems for all business units


• Address quality instances


• Be responsible for all quality-related document control


• Design or enhance quality measurements


• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external quality audits


• Participate or lead continuous improvement projects


• Coach, develop and train your team of quality assurance employees

What we require

• Bachelors degree in Quality, Engineering or related fields


• Six sigma black belt certification strongly preferred


• LEAN manufacturing experience is required


• In depth knowledge of ISO quality systems is required


• Printing or packaging industry experience is strongly preferred


• Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience


• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience of 3 or more employees


• Exceptional listening skills


• Superb verbal and written communication skills


• Critical thinking personality with decision making driven by data


• Ability to make tough decisions based upon quality measurements
