Design Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Engineer – Dallas, TX

General Duties

We are seeking a Design Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Engineer with Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. This position requires a minimum of 15 years experience in interstate and urban highway Design Quality QA / QC. A Professional Engineer’s License (PE) in Texas is required. This position will be assigned to a Public Private Partnership project with the design led by a Design Builder (Contractor). The preferred candidate must be highly effective and technically competent in interstate and urban highway Design Quality QA / QC programs. This position requires a highly motivated individual who will be able to manage a Design Quality QA team and coordinate with the Design Builder, Design Manager, Concessionaire, TxDOT and other discipline team members. The candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 requirements. The candidate must have effective oral and written communication skills, experience with TxDOT and Design Build.

Specific Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 15 or more years experience in interstate and urban highway design quality assurance / quality control.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) in Texas
• Excellent working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 requirements
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience with TxDOT and Design Build
