Job description:

TradeHelm, Inc. (TH) is a quickly growing financial software technology products and services firm.  TH seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to work in Tulsa, OK .  Successful candidate will be responsible for developing software feature requirements based on user feedback, industry trends, and performance enhancements, developing test cases to ensure proper functionality, conducting functional and performance testing, and developing and improving systems and processes.  The candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a complex and fast paced environment.  We are seeking both entry level and experienced candidates for this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·          Quality Assurance – Definition of product features & requirements, develop automated, manual, and regression test cases surrounding those requirements, and perform testing.

·          Log and track problems using issue tracking software, ensuring resolution prior to release

·          2nd Tier Support – Analyze & assist with issues escalated by other members of the TH team.

·          Develop expertise in TH trading products that will lead to shorter resolution times

·          Installation and configuration of TH products

·          Assist with testing of enhancements, fixes and new releases

·          Develop and review technical content for user manuals & other documentation

·          Use and provide feedback on internal tools, work toward company system improvement

Experience and Qualifications:

·          Solid understanding of Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux & Windows)

·          Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·          Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing to users and team members

·          Ability to maintain a professional and courteous attitude under pressure

·          Strong motivation towards support and service excellence

·          Knowledge and understanding of the financial industry (commodities, equities, securities, futures, options, derivatives) a plus

·          Familiarity of any automated test software

·          Good understanding of standard MS Office Suite

·          Technical Knowledge (a plus): Java, FIX protocol, XML, SQL, Unix, Networks: TCP/IP, UDP, multicast and understanding of Connectivity 

EDUCATION:

·          BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Preferred)
