Large local brewery is seeking an energetic person for a position in their Quality Services Department as a Quality Assurance Lab Technician. This position performs microbiological and chemical analysis of the brewing and draft packaging processes. Responsibilities will include:
• Routine operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Interpreting and reacting to process data
• Communicating lab results and data across different departments
• Driving quality improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a quality department in a food manufacturing, brewing, or processing environment. A Bachelor degree in a science background is required. Successful candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills in a cross-functional team environment. Must be able to work off-shifts, OT, and weekends. Strong microbiology experience desired, chemistry experience a plus.
