Title: Quality Assurance Lead Technician

Position Description:

Liquid Container L.P. (www.liquidcontainer.com) is a growth-oriented national multi-plant manufacturer of custom and stock plastic containers and we have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead Technician in our Modesto, CA facility. The QA Lead plans, coordinates, and assists in the quality control programs within the facility.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Implement and maintain quality systems to ensure a high level of product quality including system improvement.
2. Coordinate quality responses focusing on corrective and preventative actions
3. Work to prevent defects through potential problem analysis in the manufacturing environment.
4. Maintain and validate all test and inspection equipment.
5. Support the facility through process capability studies.
6. Designs and implements training for plant staff in applicable quality principles and procedures including inspection and testing activities.
7. Perform other duties as required in support of departmental activities.

Position Requirements:

Qualified candidates should possess:

1. A minimum of 3 years experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor or Lead in a manufacturing environment.
2. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED), Associates degree in Quality, Engineering or related field preferred.
3. Quality certifications a plus.
4. Working knowledge of ISO systems a plus.
5. Proficient in computer applications, including automated database systems.
6. Demonstrated capability in design of experiments and statistical problem solving techniques.
7. Proven leadership skills in developing and leading a team.
