This opportunity is available for a high-energy, quality assurance professional with experience in microbiology.  This newly created Quality Assurance Manager position will focus on all aspects of quality.  If you are currently working as a quality assurance technician and feel that you are ready to take the next step, this may be for you.       

Key responsibilities include:

-          establish and enforce food safety programs, plans and quality standards; testing product and documenting results;

-          actively participate in setting benchmark quality standards for all outbound products in order to maximize customer satisfaction;

-          analyze customer complaints and implement solutions in order to minimize customer complaints;

-          ensure vendor excellence through inbound inspection and random audits.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

-          Bachelor’s Degree in food science, microbiology, food microbiology or closely related field;

-          working knowledge of FDA regulation, Good Manufacturing Practices; (GMP’s), HAACP, food allergens and pest control are highly desirable;

-          Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills;
