Idea Nuova, Inc., a world-wide producer of high quality bedding and home furnishings is looking for an experienced softlines and hardlines quality assurance manager based in Brooklyn, NY.

The softlines and hardlines quality assurance manager would work with the production of both hardlines and softlines which includes furniture, lighting and toys, bedding, blankets, pillows and stuffed animals. This person will also work cooperatively with everything from checking samples and labeling, to following-up paperwork and with factories.

Applicant must have experience in color testing procedures and bedding construction. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must as well as exceptional organizational and follow-up skills as this person will be a liaison between factories and production. This person must have complete knowledge to do field inspections. Excellent computer skills are also a must (including Microsoft Word and Excel). Working knowledge of JCP, Wal-Mart, Target, Sears and Toys R Us testing and inspecting procedures are a plus as well as knowledge of international labeling requirements, UL guidelines, and CPSIA regulations.  Print and lab dip knowledge is also a plus.
