Job Title:        Quality Assurance Manager                 

Department:   Quality Assurance

Immediate Supervisor:          President

Education Requirements:

·        7 years of quality management experience in electrical manufacturing preferred

·        Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines, preferably electrical

·        Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems standards

·        Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques

·        Management/supervisory experience a plus

·        Ability to oversee all activities of team members to achieve department goals

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written & verbal

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)

·        Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task; Proven ability to make sound decisions and   

     recommendations; Perform duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy

·        Familiarity with Minitab preferred

Responsibilities:

·        QA Manager is accountable for smooth, effective flow of daily production through quality control

     department.  Accountable for daily activities as related to quality goals.

·        Develop/Maintain QPL status

·        Implement and maintain AS9100

·        Interact with customers, vendors, and sales representatives as needed.
