Temco Engineered Products is an innovative manufacturing company located in Clackamas, Oregon. Started in 1966 as an OEM supplier to Heavy Duty Truck manufacturers, Temco’s core business unit continues to supply products to Daimler Trucks of North America, VolvoMack, PACCAR and International.  Other product lines include auxiliary power units, parts cleaning equipment, and access products. 

Temco has an opening for a Quality Assurance Manager.  The QA Manager handles the administration of all aspects of the Quality Program which includes establishing plans, policies and procedures at all levels of operation to ensure full implementation and effectiveness.

The Quality Manager also contributes to the planning and coordination of the manufacturing processes on the production floor.  This position will assist in developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, tooling and production equipment capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

Team Leader for the Quality Control, Receiving, Inspection and Storage Departments

Management representative for Quality System

Reports to management on the performance of the Quality System

Liaison between external and internal parties as it relates to the Quality System

Development and administration of internal training programs relating to the Quality System

Participate in Quality Planning activities

Document and analyze company data (warranties, CARS, NCR, complaints, etc.)

Schedule and perform internal audits

Qualifications and Training required:

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Working knowledge of ISO and QS Quality Systems

Five years minimum experience in Quality/Manufacturing environment
