A new innovative frozen food company is actively seeking to fill the position of Quality Assurance Manager for thier frozen food blending and packaging plant. The facility is located in Sealy, Texas near Houston, Texas. The facility is an opportunity for an individual to start and grow a quality, food safety and innovation program. Some of the qualifications we are looking for include:
· 2 plus years experience in Food Processing Industry in areas of Quality, Food Safety and/or Research and Development · Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering or other related science field. · Research and Development Experience in Formulations · USDA FSIS Experience · Auditing Skills and knowledge of GSFI and other recognized standards · Supplier Approval Process and Management · Consumer Complaint Contact · Regulatory Issues and Monitoring · Supervision and Development of Several Employees · Budgeting and Money Management for Departmental Operations Some of the skills we value are: Ø Results Oriented Ø Self Motivated Ø International Travel Ø Competitive Nature Ø Bilingual (Spanish) This company is a joint venture including existing frozen food companies with a large international presence.
