A globally recognized food manufacturer in further processed and fully cooked poultry is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their successful team. S/He will direct all quality and food safety functions within the plant.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:
Implementation of QA, HACCP and SDI programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing continuing education to employees as needed
Ensuring the QA department is properly staffed, trained and organized in order to meet the company’s goals
Acting as a liaison between sales and plant operations regarding field quality issues
Collaborating with sales and marketing to exceed customer expectations with a consistent, quality product
The Quality Assurance Manager will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in food science, poultry, or similar field
10 years Quality Assurance experience within a food manufacturing environment
Experience within a further processing plant preferred
Good communication and analytical skills
