QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR III – (Hourly Rate: $28.29)

DUTIES: Perform QA functions for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance

IAW with the NAMP, Contractor GOP’s and applicable T/M/S MIMs/Tech

Pubs. Perform NAMPSOP monitoring, quarterly audits, trend analysis.

Scheduled/unscheduled NDI inspections, and draft QA related Naval

messages identified in the NAMP. Additionally, QAR’s will notify the

Government Oversight QAR’s of all Flight Critical, Safety of Flight, and

mandatory QA inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS: Strongly desired to be a high school graduate or equivalent. Shall have successfully completed the Navy "QAR" school or Contractor equivalent. Shall have been a T/M/S specific aircraft qualified CDI/CDQAR in the applicable T/M/S aircraft on which they will be performing VX- 31 Quality Assurance actions. Shall be able to recognize aircraft discrepancy trends, develop Trend Analysis reports, brief verbally or in writing to the Maintenance Officer, Maintenance Material Control

Representatives, Project Officers, Functional Check Flight Aircrew and

Flight Crews. Quality Assurance Representatives shall be able to communicate clearly and concisely to prepare and present on-the-job maintenance training and technical briefings. QAR’s shall have at least three years specific T/M/S aircraft experience at the Organizational level in the applicable VX-31T/M/S aircraft, shall be a current T/M/S specific aircraft CDI on the applicable VX-31 T/M/S aircraft assigned to support. Two years of the qualifying experience shall have been at the Organizational level of the specific VX-31 T/M/S aircraft to be maintained and must have been within the past five years. Education cannot be substituted for experience. VX-31 Organizational Level maintenance experience most preferred over other options.

Shall have a valid US State driver’s license.

Be eligible to qualify for a Secret Level Clearance.
